I have just recently discovered this on my laptop. There is a NumLK key (on your F11 key, hold the Fn key (which is located at the lower left side of your keyboard) and the F11 key and it will lock the number keys which are:

and the actual keys are:

So if you look at these letters, u will see the numbers and symbols on the top right of the letters (some are blue and some are grey, depending on the laptop) and if u go from top to bottom as I showed, it will be just like your number pad (10 key) on a regular desktop computer. You just have to hold Fn and F11 to activate it and then hit the Fn and F11 keys again to deactivate it.
Ok, I just had my laptop on num lock which is when u hold Fn & F11 keys which will give you the number pad (like on a desktop) and I held the Alt key while pressing these numbers:
7 8 9
4 5 6
1 2 3
and this is what I got:

So remember, on the laptop, the number pad keys are the following keys:

I went all the way to Alt 100000/JMMMMM and it just keeps repeating itself with the same symbols and letters that I have already posted.
